Job Description
The Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of Turning Point's facilities in DTLA and Santa Monica, and overseeing maintenance and janitorial staff for both regions.

Requirements

  • Ensure all facilities are clean and safe
  • Supervise and coordinate major repairs
  • Develop and implement systems for cleaning, repair, and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of systems, equipment, and facilities
  • Prepare monthly reports on facilities conditions and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with building and safety codes, OSHA, and hazardous waste disposal
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate facilities employees
  • Train and schedule staff, and ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Work with outside vendors as needed
  • Address and report safety issues and concerns
  • Coordinate employee schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all sites
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of maintenance engineers and janitorial staff
  • Approve timesheets, vacation requests, and provide adequate coverage for sites due to staff call-outs
  • Assign and complete work orders in the UpKeep portal
  • Create and revise the staff holiday schedule
