Role OverviewWork with a diverse team to build heavy marine and/or civil construction, supporting administrative and construction activities. Self-perform work and supervise subcontractors, ensuring field work meets drawings & specifications.
What You Will Do
Perform tasks such as reviewing project plans, preparing cost estimates, writing work plans, and managing costs and materials. Code daily labor, purchase orders, and costs for tracking in the cost system.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Marine or Ocean Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with knowledge of construction safety and project scheduling and cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in Marine or Ocean Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Knowledge of construction safety as well as current Federal & OSHA requirements
- Broad knowledge of and ability to understand project scheduling and cost control
- Ability to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with CAD, PC software packages typically associated with engineering (i.e. Scheduling software), Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior Field experience in the construction industry preferred
