Role OverviewThe Senior Field Service Engineer – Electronic Security is a senior technical role responsible for onsite troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex electronic security systems. You will support service operations by maintaining system performance and ensuring continuity across client environments.
What You Will Do
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix repairs across access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. Act as the primary technical escalation point, delivering advanced diagnostics, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- Manufacturer certifications from one or more leading ESS platforms
- 3+ years of experience installing and supporting enterprise-level security systems
- Industry-recognized certifications in access control or video management systems
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS architectures
- Proficiency with major ESS platforms
- Experience using Bluebeam, System Surveyor, D-tools, or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support multi-discipline technical teams
- Strong competencies in AutoCAD and Visio
- Basic wiring and cable termination skills
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Competence in safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and required safety equipment
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass a background screen and drug test
