Role OverviewThe Senior Financial Analyst for Tax is responsible for sales and use tax analysis, reporting, and compliance for Helena and its subsidiaries, as well as other business taxes and licenses. This position provides leadership within the sales tax function and supports overall tax operations.
What You Will Do
Understands sales and use tax compliance principles in all states and local jurisdictions. Researches and prepares work papers and prepares data for sales and use tax returns. Calculates use tax and reviews and oversees the filing of sales and use tax returns.

Requires 5 years of related work experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Preferred qualifications include CPA, CMA, MBA, or public accounting tax experience.

- 5 years of related work experience
- Understanding sales and use tax compliance principles in all states and local jurisdictions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel up to two weeks per year
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
