Role OverviewThe Senior Financial Analyst will assist in processing federal revenue and administering fiscal aspects of assigned duties, independently preparing and analyzing financial statements. The role will involve managing and analyzing financial data for federal and state grant programs, preparing financial reports, and providing fiscal guidance to program staff. The Senior Financial Analyst will work in the Office of Financial Affairs, assisting in the establishment of Ohio Department of Health's long- and short-range fiscal goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities include managing and analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring grant budgets, and providing fiscal guidance to program staff. The Senior Financial Analyst will also develop and maintain financial reports, collaborate with program managers, and research and interpret federal and state regulations.

Requirements
- 42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software
- Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
- 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software
- Completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
- 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software
