Role OverviewThis hybrid position plays an important role in supporting financial operations across Maine Veterans' Homes, with a particular focus on pharmacy accounting, financial reporting, revenue analysis, budgeting, reimbursement, and cost reporting.
What You Will Do
Prepares monthly journal entries, tracks outstanding accounts receivable, reconciles pharmacy revenue, evaluates payments from third-party payors, and prepares financial analysis and variance reports.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Minimum five years of accounting experience

- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and general ledger/accounting software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
