Role OverviewAs a Senior Firmware Engineer at Luxer One, you will own firmware architecture and delivery for our embedded hardware portfolio, including locker control boards, IoT gateways, and next-generation platform programs. You will design and implement firmware from the ground up on new hardware programs, build and maintain OTA update pipelines, and partner with electrical engineers and manufacturing partners on hardware design review and production validation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning firmware architecture and delivery, designing and implementing firmware from the ground up, building and maintaining OTA update pipelines, and partnering with electrical engineers and manufacturing partners.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will be a fit for this role if you have five or more years of firmware or embedded software engineering experience, with demonstrated ownership of production IoT or connected hardware programs. You should be comfortable writing embedded C at the register level and presenting a hardware architecture decision to a cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Five or more years of firmware or embedded software engineering experience
- Strong C/C++ in an embedded context
- Experience with wireless connectivity in embedded products
- OTA update design and implementation experience
- Experience with hardware bring-up
- Experience producing technical specifications and architecture documents
- Demonstrated AI fluency in your engineering workflow
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences
