Role Overview

Schneider is seeking a Senior Fleet Maintenance Specialist in Green Bay to work with drivers, vendors and internal associates in an in-office setting when equipment breaks down and repairs are needed. The Senior Fleet Maintenance Specialist will estimate repair times and communicate the availability of equipment to others in the organization.

What You Will Do

Respond to incoming calls and messages regarding equipment breakdowns and accidents. Provide guidance, coaching and analysis on breakdowns and repairs. Diagnose root causes of breakdowns, interpret fault codes and make informed repair decisions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have technical degree in diesel technology preferred but not required, 1-2 years of diesel or automotive repair experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
