Job Description
The Senior Flight Test Engineer will work with government engineers and project officers in F-35 flight test and evaluation, with a focus on mission systems. The role is responsible for test planning, execution, and analysis, as well as supporting data acquisition and anomaly resolution efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), aeronautical engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • Minimum five years of progressive work experience, including test planning, reporting and analysis
  • Ability to apply practical knowledge of aerospace engineering to flight testing principles and concepts applicable to the developmental and system testing
  • Knowledge on the theory and applicability of aerodynamics and propulsion
  • Ability to apply specialized personnel and readiness expertise and independent judgment to solve diverse problems in complex and high-visibility projects
