Role OverviewAs a Senior FP&A Analyst supporting Long Term Planning, you'll help shape Southwest's long-term financial strategy by building and maintaining financial models, analyzing complex business scenarios, and delivering insights that inform key decisions across the Company. You'll partner with Finance Leadership, FP&A, Fleet, Supply Chain, Treasury, and other strategic Teams to develop long-range forecasts, support annual planning and earnings activities, prepare executive and Board-level reporting, and evaluate major business initiatives.
What You Will Do
Work with large data sets to understand key business drivers and translate findings into insights and actions. Provide complex financial reports and analysis, review financial results comparing actuals versus plan, forecast, and prior year, and partner with Accounting on monthly and quarterly financial close. Run and update financial models, communicate results with Financial Partners, and support business research by gathering data and creating non-routine reports.

Requirements
- Advanced level experience in analyzing operational and financial data
- Advanced level experience in building budgets and forecasts of future company performance
- Advanced level experience in preparing financial reports
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to comply with Company attendance standards
- Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards
