Senior Frontend / Architect (React / Next.js / SSR)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help architect and build core user-facing experiences across web and mobile platforms. This is not a ticket-driven implementation role. We are looking for engineers who can take ownership of major frontend systems, make strong architectural decisions, and help shape the long-term direction of the platform.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with backend engineers, product leadership, and design teams to build high-performance, real-time consumer experiences used by football fans globally. You will be responsible for architecting scalable frontend systems across web and mobile, building reusable, maintainable UI components and frontend infrastructure, and developing high-performance real-time user experiences.

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience building consumer-facing applications at scale
• Deep expertise with modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems, including React and modern frontend architecture patterns
• Strong experience building complex, real-time user interfaces such as social feeds and timelines, messaging and notification systems, live sports or live-content experiences, video-heavy consumer applications, and high-engagement mobile-first products
• Deep understanding of SSR, frontend performance optimization, rendering strategies, hydration, caching, and SEO-focused frontend architecture
• Experience integrating frontend systems with high-performance backend services using REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, or event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of frontend scalability, state management, component architecture, and reusable design systems
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first applications across web and native mobile environments
• Strong experience with modern frontend tooling and engineering workflows including Vite, Webpack, Turbopack, or similar build systems, Storybook or component-driven development workflows, Playwright, Cypress, or frontend testing frameworks, and GitHub-based engineering workflows and CI/CD pipelines
