Senior Full Stack Developer

The Senior Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for various legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight. They will integrate AI capabilities into existing and new applications, leveraging LLMs, agents, and automation to enhance functionality and user experience. The ideal candidate will contribute to a culture of AI literacy within the engineering team, sharing strategies for safe, ethical, and effective use of AI in software development and encouraging experimentation with new AI-enhanced workflows.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include design, development, and implementation of custom software and database application capabilities, integration of AI capabilities into existing and new applications, and contribution to a culture of AI literacy within the engineering team. The Senior Full Stack Developer will also stay current on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and patterns, and make recommendations for adoption where they add measurable value.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters or MBA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain
• 8+ years of experience with various technologies such as JavaScript/Node.js/Vue.js, Groovy/Grails, Java/Springboot, and Software AG webMethods
• Experience with AI development tools and coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude)
• Understanding of AI principles including LLMs, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into application workflows
• Familiarity with AI SDKs and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI SDK, LangChain)
• Test-First mindset across all levels of application development
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to break down complex technical requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
