Job Description
Role Overview

Join a product engineering team that is expanding fast, with real users, real stakes, and wide latitude to define how our flagship platform gets built. You'll work across the whole stack: the Angular and React interfaces leaders use to make decisions, the Express API layer behind them, the Postgres data model underneath, and the Kubernetes deployment path that gets it all in front of customers.

What You Will Do

Build features end to end, design and evolve our API layer, own the data model, deliver rich, data-dense interfaces, set standards across the stack, engineer for performance, ship continuously, and partner across the org.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You'll be joining a team that values engineers who move fluently between Angular and React, and who are comfortable debugging a slow query, restructuring a service, and fixing a rendering bug. You'll have the latitude to define how our flagship platform gets built, and you'll be working with senior colleagues to set standards across the stack.

Requirements

  • 7+ years building and operating production web applications, with time in a senior or lead capacity on a complex, long-lived codebase
  • Genuine full stack depth: You are equally comfortable debugging a slow query, restructuring a service, and fixing a rendering bug and you've shipped real features across all three
  • Strong Node.js and Express experience: Router and middleware design, service layering, authentication and authorization, API versioning, error handling, and testing
  • Deep Angular expertise (required): Modern Angular development including standalone components, signals or RxJS-based state, dependency injection, routing, lazy loading, and performance tuning in large applications
  • Production PostgreSQL experience: Schema design, migrations, query optimization and execution plans, transactions, and indexing strategy
  • Cloud native delivery experience: Containerized applications deployed to Kubernetes, with practical understanding of configuration, secrets, health checks, scaling, and troubleshooting a running workload
  • Hands-on GitOps and CI/CD: ArgoCD (or Flux) driven deployment, Helm and/or Kustomize, and pipeline automation as a normal part of how you ship
  • Architecture judgment: You've made and lived with decisions about service boundaries, data modeling, state management, build tooling, and dependency choices, and can explain the tradeoffs
  • Testing and quality discipline: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as a normal part of shipping, not an afterthought
  • Comfort with continuous delivery culture — small batches, fast feedback, blameless learning, and operational excellence
  • A self-starter's bias for action: You see a gap in the product or the process, and you close it. You don't wait for a prescriptive task list
  • Strong communication skills: You can defend an architecture decision to an engineer and explain the business impact to an executive
