Role OverviewThe selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of a legacy web application while helping define system scope, objectives, and baselines, and establishing project standards and processes. The role is hybrid, with onsite work in Reston, VA, and remote work.
What You Will Do
Develop, test, and debug a legacy web application while supporting its migration to AWS, collaborate with stakeholders to define system scope, objectives, and baselines, establish project standards/processes, and build and maintain automated tests using Playwright in AWS.

Requirements
- 8+ years of Software Development experience
- Full Stack: ~70% Backend / 30% Frontend
- Frontend: Angular 16+, React, HTML, CSS
- Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot, unit/integration testing with JUnit/TestNG
- MongoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL
- Hands-on AWS experience, including deploying and managing EKS
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience and AWS cloud migration/re-platforming (on-prem to off-prem) experience
- AWS Certified Developer and/or Architect (required)
- Extensive Agile/Scrum experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- BS Degree (or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
