Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Requirements

• Perform, review, and provide quality control for geotechnical analyses
• Develop geotechnical design solutions to address stability, liquefaction, seepage and other subsurface and dam risks
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions
• Participate in FERC Comprehensive Assessments, Periodic Inspections, and other dam safety evaluations
• Prepare contract documents, including drawings, design reports, specifications and cost estimates
• Participate in risk assessments and support risk-informed decision making
• Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs
• Participate in marketing efforts of both internal and external clients
• Organize, conduct, and coordinate or manage geotechnical investigations for transportation and other projects
• Perform geotechnical technical analyses, prepare geotechnical reports and coordinate with designers to implement recommendations
