Job Description
Proactively solicit and book group events, meetings and room block to enable the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals in sleeping rooms and food and beverage.
Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience in the Group Sales for a Full Service hotel.
Lifestyle hotel or New York City market experience preferred
Strong computer skills and familiarity with industry-specific systems, such as Salesforce Delphi, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and customer service experience
An aptitude for self-motivation
A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach to client management
A flexible schedule that allows you to be available days, nights, holidays and weekends based on the demands of the hotel and clients
The ability and desire to attend travel trade shows and hotel industry-related events
