Senior Heavy Truck Driver

We are seeking a Senior Heavy Truck Driver to operate company vehicles with a capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background and oilfield experience, with the ability to operate heavy equipment and communicate effectively with others.

What You Will Do

The Senior Heavy Truck Driver will be responsible for reading and interpreting instructions and documentation, planning work activities, and observing and following all safety rules and procedures. They will also perform other duties and activities as directed.

Requirements

• Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have Class A CDL licensure with Hazmat endorsement
• Tanker, Doubles, Triples endorsement preferred
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges
• Winter, mountain, over the road driving experience required and the ability to chain up.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a forklift and loader certification
• Must be willing and able to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to forklift, telehanders, loaders etc.
• Able to communicate effectively with others
• Mechanical background and oilfield experience preferred.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
• Able to lift up to 60lbs
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
• Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions
• Maintains effective working relationship with other employees
