Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Senior HIM Specialist to join their Health Information Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient health information. The role will involve working with electronic health records, health information systems, and other applications, as well as communicating with team members and customers to provide excellent service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology and the health information management process, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of health care experience and proof of completed vocational certificate or Degree
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
