Job Description
As a Senior HIM Specialist - EMPI at UT Southwestern, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and security of patient health information. You will work as an essential member of the Health Information Management Department, assisting with the collection, processing, and maintenance of patient data in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 2 years of health care experience and proof of completed vocational certificate or Degree which also supports the domain of the HIM field
  • 3 years of health care experience, business, and/or HIM experience in lieu of vocational certificate
  • Additional education in HIM, Business or related field which supports the domain of the HIM field may be considered in lieu of experience
