Job Description
Peregrine Team is hiring a Human Resources Consultant to support a client based in Washington. This position is a contract role with full benefits and competitive pay. The role involves providing strategic HR advisory services, employee relations, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR advisory or consulting capacity
  • Experience working in a unionized environment, including collective bargaining agreement (CBA) interpretation and grievance handling
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance at the federal, state, and local levels (Washington preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, including conducting investigations and managing complex, sensitive situations
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
  • High level of discretion with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant HR certification preferred
