Role Overview

This is a highly responsible, full-time professional position responsible for creating and maintaining a stand-alone county tobacco-free partnership to mobilize community partners to establish policies and systems change that will support long-term social norm change, to prevent initiation of tobacco use among youth and young adults, eliminate secondhand smoke exposure, and promote cessation from tobacco use.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of professional experience in health, social, economic, or rehabilitative programs
  • Public speaking, coalition building and program development skills, management expertise, and a strong knowledge of state procurement and budget management
