Role OverviewThe NECI Senior I&C Engineer II role owns the largest and most complex I&C scopes in the portfolio with limited oversight. This role reports to the Manager, I&C Engineering and is expected to be a technical subject matter expert inside the team and in front of customers.
What You Will Do
Lead control system hardware design and field execution scopes, act as the escalation point for difficult technical problems, and direct the technical work of other engineering staff assigned to your projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related experience
- 8+ years of I&C, controls, electrical, automation, or process instrumentation engineering experience
- 2 to 4+ years in a senior, lead, or technical owner capacity
- SME level knowledge in controls theory and advanced working knowledge of control system hardware, UL 508A panel design, instrumentation, and industrial networks
- Proven ability to lead large, complex engineering scopes from early definition through turnover
- Strong written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to travel 30 to 50%, primarily within New England
