Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is a 100% employee-owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well-established engineering companies in the United States. We have a Senior I&C Engineer position available in Portland, OR. The engineer will interact directly with customers and Wunderlich-Malec engineers and drafters to identify requirements, develop specifications, and implement/test/commission/qualify I&C solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience with capabilities in preparation of electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control panel specifications
  • Experience in design of instrumentation and controls schematics, installation, checkout, and commissioning of electrical, instruments, and control systems
  • Knowledge of the NEC and associated national, state, and local code requirements, including hazardous area requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
