Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (WM) is a 100% employee-owned ESOP and one of the largest and most well-established engineering companies in the United States. We have a Senior I&C Engineer position available in Portland, OR. The engineer will interact directly with customers and W-M engineers and drafters to identify requirements, develop specifications, and implement/testing/commissioning/qualifying I&C solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience with capabilities in preparation of electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control panel specifications, design of instrumentation and controls schematics, installation, checkout, and commissioning of electrical, instruments, and control systems
  • Knowledge of the NEC and associated national, state and local code requirements; includes hazardous area requirements
  • Familiar with construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
