Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, a 100% employee-owned ESOP, seeks a Senior I&C Engineer to interact with customers and engineers to identify requirements, develop specifications, and implement I&C solutions. The engineer will research systems ideas, draw up plans, and conduct factory tests, providing support throughout construction and commissioning. As a Senior Engineer, they will manage a team, develop project plans, and ensure quality output.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience with capabilities in preparation of electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control panel specifications
  • Experience in design of instrumentation and controls schematics
  • Experience in the installation, checkout, and commissioning of electrical, instruments, and control systems
  • Knowledge of the NEC and associated national, state, and local code requirements
  • Familiarity with construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with PLC programming is preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD is desired
