Role Overview

The Senior Information Security Analyst will provide guidance on information security, advise on risks, develop and advise on security architecture, and assist with development of global security strategies. The individual will be recognized as a Subject Matter expert on security and will conduct investigations using forensics tools. The role requires technical savvy in the information security field, a broad IT background, and the ability to perform independent research on security vulnerabilities.

What You Will Do

The Senior Information Security Analyst will advise on risks associated with given solutions, develop and advise on security architecture, assist with development of global security strategies, research and evaluate findings on security vulnerabilities, and conduct investigations using forensics tools. The individual will also provide guidance on balancing business needs vs exposure/risk, develop standards for information security, and develop security metrics/KPIs that have business relevance.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of broad based IT experience, knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls, and experience with vulnerability management and incident response. The individual will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of broad based IT experience
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
  • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM)
  • Experience with vulnerability management and incident response
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
