Requirements

  • Proven experience building enterprise-grade APIs using modern languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go, supported by DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Strong grounding in domain-driven, specification-first API design, including REST best practices, API standardization, and governance.
  • Broad API architecture knowledge across REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, and AsyncAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with API management platforms (e.g., Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Layer7).
  • Skilled with API design tools such as SwaggerHub and Stoplight.
  • Cloud and container orchestration expertise (EKS, ECS, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of API authentication and authorization patterns, especially OAuth2.
  • Solid grasp of observability practices (metrics, logging, tracing).
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks across unit, regression, contract, performance, and stress testing.
  • Experience supporting production operations and incident response for high-volume global platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
