Role OverviewThe Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid Cloud will be responsible for owning the platform end to end, from the rack and the UPS to the Azure subscription. They will be the primary engineer for our two Dell Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) clusters, our Veeam/Data Domain backup platform, and our Windows and Linux fleet. They will also lead our growing Azure Government environment as we unify on-prem and cloud through Azure Arc.
What You Will Do
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid Cloud will run our two Azure Local clusters, administer Windows Server and Active Directory, own backup and recovery on Veeam and Data Domain, lead day-to-day Azure Government administration, unify hybrid management across Azure Local and Azure Government with Azure Arc and Azure Update Manager, and own patching, vulnerability remediation, and STIG/CIS hardening.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience running production server infrastructure as the responsible engineer, operated an Active Directory forest as the responsible admin, and owned a backup platform end to end. They will also have certifications such as Security+ or AZ-104, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
