Role OverviewThe Senior Insights Consultant will work directly with ACT's school, district, and state education agency customers to help them access, interpret, and leverage ACT data for meaningful interventions and improved student outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of data strategy and professional development—translating assessment insights into actionable intelligence and building the capacity of educators to use data effectively.

The ideal candidate will develop post-test training content and resources that resonate across contexts (from state agencies to rural schools), represent ACT at key education venues, and build an internal library of tools and frameworks that scale our impact.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in education data/professional development roles using data and analysis to inform decision-making in education, government, nonprofit, or social impact contexts
- Experience in professional development, training delivery, or instructional support in education settings
- Experience producing external-facing content and resources (trainings, presentations, guides, etc.)
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and demonstrated experience working with K–12 or postsecondary education data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data concepts for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across stakeholder groups (educators, state officials, school leaders, etc.)
- Demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes and advancing equity
- Proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or Power BI), virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and content-development or e-learning authoring tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate 360, or Adobe Captivate)
- Ability to travel at least 25% of time
- Bachelor's degree in education, policy, public policy, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field of study; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
