Requirements

  • High school diploma (GED)
  • 10 years of construction or inspection experience
  • Preferably experience on KYTC or municipal roadway projects
  • Licenses/registrations/certifications such as KYTC CEI certifications
  • Familiarity with construction techniques, design principles, and KYTC specifications
  • Ability to learn on the job through observation and asking questions
  • Ability to use hands to operate tools or equipment
  • Competence in computer use for data entry and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Physical ability to use hands to operate tools or equipment, talk, see, hear, reach with hands and arms, walk, stand, and stoop
