Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position would demonstrate proficiency in using construction management applications and other electronic tools daily for reporting purposes; exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, thereby maintaining an excellent working relationship with a variety of internal and external customers; and demonstrate the ability to manage inspection services on multiple contracts and in various stages of construction.

Requirements

  • Detailed complex inspections of multi-disciplined public works, waterworks and utility construction projects
  • Integrate plans, details and specifications to ensure construction and contract compliance
  • Prepare project inspection reports
  • Assist in the change order process
  • Meet with contractors and/or engineers and attend design reviews, preconstruction, and progress meetings
  • Monitor and inspect construction activities within rights-of-way to ensure that transmission lines, fiber optic and telemetry cable, cathodic protection equipment and other structures are not damaged and proper grade level separations are maintained
  • Travel pipeline inspection routes
