Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer (FSE) to provide installation, maintenance, and sustainment support for critical Security Systems used by the U.S. Navy. This role is based at the NIWC San Diego Old Town Facility (OTC). The FSE serves as the primary technical representative on-site, ensuring the operational readiness of specialized systems within the OTC ESS LAB.
What You Will Do
Perform corrective maintenance for PSAC-EA, NPACS, LAMAS, vLAMAS, and GBRS systems. Support and sustain OT2/OT3 PSAC-EA Lab systems, including PSIMS, ENERMS, ACSI, MIDF, PIDF, Lenel ACS, Milestone, and Bosch/Hirsch IDS. Coordinate the physical movement of all systems from Building OT2 to OT3, providing all necessary cabling, power upgrades, mounts, and conduits.

Must maintain required qualifications in accordance with system vendors to receive direct vendor support. Develop and deliver formal training to U.S. Navy and Coast Guard personnel on system operations and troubleshooting. Ensure all lab materials used are Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation and repair of complex electronic systems.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years supporting DoD systems, specifically within a lab or operational environment similar to the OTC Operational Platform.
- Must possess or be immediately eligible to receive an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
