Job Description
Job Summary: This posting will be used to fill a current vacancy in the Street and Drainage Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department within the City of Oklahoma City. The Senior Inventory Technician is responsible for providing functional supervision and maintaining stock and inventory controls associated with a large supply room, warehouse or yard which services a department.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of departmental supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures for receiving and dispensing supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to organize materials and information.
  • Ability to work accurately with information.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and relay work related information using tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations accurately.
  • Ability to supervise.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established operational procedures and policies.
  • Ability to work independently and accept responsibility.
  • Ability to follow safety practices when working with supplies and equipment.
