Role OverviewJoin our IT Systems Engineering team as a Senior IT Applications Engineer. You'll be the hands-on owner and subject matter expert for the management of Aurora's core SaaS ecosystem, focusing on collaboration platforms and incident and alert management platforms. You'll set the technical strategy and roadmap for this domain, build robust automations and integrations, and help drive Aurora's adoption of Enterprise AI tools.
What You Will Do
Serve as the owner and SME for Aurora's collaboration and communication platforms, strategize the technical direction and roadmap, and troubleshoot complex issues. Own solutioning for incident and alert management platforms, build integrations and automated workflows, and eliminate repetitive manual processes by building robust process automations.

Requirements
- 6+ years in IT, software engineering, or systems engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise applications, integrations, and automation.
- Proven hands-on experience administering and delivering managed solutions on collaboration and communication platforms at scale (Google Workspace, Slack).
- Hands-on experience with incident and alert management platforms (e.g., FireHydrant, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, or similar), including configuration and integration.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language (Python, JavaScript/Google Apps Script) and extensive experience building integrations with APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms (e.g., Workato).
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management and lifecycle automation — APIs, SSO, and SCIM provisioning (e.g., Okta or similar).
- Solid understanding of API usage and design, integration patterns, and cloud-native architectures, including hands-on experience with a major cloud platform and application deployments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner across teams and with senior leadership spanning IT, Software, Operations/Services, and Security.
