Senior IT Product Owner - APO Demand Planning and IBP

We are seeking a Senior IT Product Owner to lead the demand planning and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) capabilities for our APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) platform. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in delivering and supporting enterprise demand planning and forecasting technology, including at least one full implementation or major upgrade taken from design through go-live and hypercare. The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise demand planning platforms, such as SAS Viya, and a practical understanding of forecasting methods and their configuration in a planning system.

They will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs. The role also involves working knowledge of the SAS ecosystem, forecasting pipelines and model repositories, and the ability to tie platform capabilities to measurable accuracy improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, plus extensive directly related professional experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering and supporting enterprise demand planning and forecasting technology
• Prior ownership of a demand planning or forecasting capability, product line, or business process
• Hands-on experience with enterprise demand planning platforms, such as SAS Viya
• Working knowledge of the SAS ecosystem, including forecasting pipelines and model repositories
• Practical understanding of forecasting methods and their configuration in a planning system
• Experience with enterprise integration between planning platforms and ERP, data warehouse, and cloud data environments
