Role OverviewThis role is a strategic, high-impact Mission Assurance/Quality Manager position at the IDIQ level, embedded within the PMO for a large-scale National Intelligence program at GDIT. The role starts on Task Order 2, setting processes and overseeing risk reduction, process compliance, and product reliability to guarantee mission-critical objectives are met. This is an onsite position in Chantilly, VA, requiring a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
What You Will Do
You will design, maintain, and continuously improve the program's quality management framework across all task orders, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and GDIT policies. Responsibilities include defining and documenting key processes, performing periodic compliance checks, and driving corrective actions. You will define and maintain quality metrics, consolidate data across task orders, and provide regular dashboards to leadership and customer stakeholders. Additionally, you will partner with program management to track quality risks, lead root cause analysis for significant defects, and embed quality practices into Agile/SAFe and DevSecOps processes.

Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering and quality assurance experience, with a proven track record of moving from hands-on technical contributor to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience leading teams with demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement significant strategic initiatives
- Demonstrable experience architecting and executing a large-scale manual-to-automation transformation. Must be able to speak deeply to the technical framework design, ROI analysis, and change management strategies used
- Deep, hands-on expertise with modern automation tooling, CI/CD pipeline integration, and testing large-scale, multi-tier, service-oriented architectures
