We are seeking a VP-level Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead to join a Market Data and Trading Technology team within a leading financial institution.
What You Will Do
Design and develop enterprise-grade, server-side Java applications supporting market data and trading platforms. Provide technical leadership and guidance across architecture, solution design, development, and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of software development experience, ideally within financial services or capital markets, and strong hands-on expertise in Core Java (JDK 11/17), Spring, and Spring Boot.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance
- 10–15 years of software development experience, ideally within financial services or capital markets
- Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java (JDK 11/17), Spring, and Spring Boot
- Experience with Apache Camel, REST APIs, JMS/ActiveMQ, and enterprise authentication frameworks
- Strong database and architecture experience, including MS SQL Server and/or Sybase, enterprise application design, and production support
- Proven experience leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, and communicating effectively with business and technology stakeholders

- Salary between USD $145,000 - US $185,000
