Role OverviewJoin Kleinfelder's southeast engineering team as a detail-oriented Senior Land Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will work on multi-disciplinary projects, including traditional industrial/commercial land development, solar, and/or mining. This is a hybrid office role with opportunities in Raleigh, Atlanta, and Charlotte.
What You Will Do
Complete civil engineering designs, generate professional plans and specifications, and perform site visits to solve constructability, municipal code, and site challenges. Coordinate with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers, and support clients through periodic construction support.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
- 3-8+ years of related experience in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
- Ability to engage in multiple projects to complete successful requirement deliveries
- Ability to organize priorities and multi-task effectively
- Pro-actively troubleshoot and problem-solve with practical, client-focused solutions
- Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals
- Computer skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, MS Office
