Senior Landscape Architect

The Senior Landscape Architect will oversee the staff, projects, and activities of the Landscape Unit, providing professional leadership and technical direction in landscape architecture and greening projects. The role involves planning, developing, and directing complex landscape architectural projects, preparing and certifying plans and specifications, and leading the design and development of in-house landscape architecture projects.

What You Will Do

The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, providing technical direction to consultant landscape architects, and reviewing and approving technical documentation. The role also involves conducting site visits, evaluating existing site conditions, and providing professional direction to resolve design and technical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in landscape architectural design on commercial and public agency projects
• Minimum three (3) years of experience supervising a team of landscape architects and related staff
• Experience with AutoCAD design software
• Proficiency in office computer software (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)
• Experience with graphic design and rendering software (Adobe Suite, Photoshop, others)
• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
