Job Description
The Senior Lead Inland Marine & Energy Underwriting role is responsible for providing underwriting advice, technical support, and training to develop individuals within the team. The role involves managing complex underwriting cases, contributing to product strategy, and building relationships with intermediaries to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Contribute to the achievement of operational objectives for the underwriting function and/or business unit.
  • Perform underwriting activities following all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met.
  • Provide efficient and timely service to brokers and clients.
  • Evaluate risk for new business following standards, to ensure profitable growth.
  • Motivate and develop the team by demonstrating good leadership behaviours and management best practices.
