Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Lead Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our Executive Fleet team in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work and take initiative to resolve constraints that arise daily
  • Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Conduct research to obtain constraint knowledge including parts and engineering details to track, status and resolve constraints
  • Lead, schedule and train program personnel to utilize Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) system for constraint management
  • Investigate and research future schedule to proactively identify constraints and attend line by line review meetings to provide inputs that align with SAT tool
  • Attend and/or lead Tier meetings
  • Creating and presenting innovative project proposals to Senior Leadership 
  • Assist mechanics with specs and DWG understanding 
  • Assist shop with procurement and/or modification of identified tools
  • Work with less knowledgeable mechanics and team mates to coach on processes and build knowledge and skills
  • Assist with closure of quality corrective actions (IQDS) items and investigation of root cause and solutions 
  • Foster the values of seek, speak and listen to communicate emotional intelligence and with customer service mentality 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing maintenance and/or modification
  • 5+ years of experience using strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience accessing aircraft data via computer systems to view technical data
  • 5+ years of experience with PowerPoint and creating presentations
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel manipulating data and formulas
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using GOLD and I-GOLD, Vipers, NCM (Non-Conformance System), Ship Side Action Tracker or similar software applications
  • Leadership Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Previous Line Side Control Center experience
  • Experience with depot level/ modification maintenance

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $111,350 - $131,000
