Job Description
Transform Lives as a Senior Lead Resident Assistant at Diamond Willow Assisted Living & Memory Care. Provide personal care, delegated nursing and medical care, housekeeping, meal preparation, and activities designed to maintain the resident's physical and emotional well-being. Lead, mentor, and train new staff members.

Requirements

  • Act as the trainer, mentor to the new staff assisting with onboarding.
  • Assist the resident with their actives of daily living (ADLs)
  • Apply braces as needed per care plan.
  • Repositioning clients as needed.
  • Observing clients for change of medical condition and reporting changes to the Nurse.
  • Assist with fall prevention
  • Assist with behavior management
  • Do the laundry as needed
  • Perform any needed housekeeping activity
  • Prepare and serve meals to the residents
  • Plan and host activities for the residents
  • Administer medications as directed in care plan
  • Document and report any changes in health or behaviors of the residents
  • Monitor wandering residents
  • Provide end-of -life care
  • Keep up to date on emergency procedure and assist in emergency situation.
  • Must understand the vulnerable adults act, Bill of Rights and HIPPA.
