Role OverviewYou will oversee classroom teaching staff, implement The Head Start Standards, and ensure an educational program that is developmentally appropriate and congruent with the Programs School Readiness Goals. You will report to the Childcare Center Manager.
What You Will Do
Manage and train classroom teaching staff, delegate assignments, monitor and oversee classroom staff, daily activities, lesson plans, classroom schedules, attendance reports, educational observations, and screening and assessments.

Must have an Associate degree in early childhood or 2 years' work experience in an early childhood setting, and be willing to attend required training and travel.
Requirements
- Associate degree in early childhood or 2 years' work experience in an early childhood setting
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining Child Development Associate (CDA); if no CDA, must be willing to sign a contract
- Must be willing to attend required training and travel
- Two (2) years' experience working with children
- Must have a valid state driver's license for appropriate vehicle with a clean driving record
- The physical requirements of the job that may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds
