Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Legal Counsel specializing in transactional and employment law to join our in-house legal team. In this integral role, you will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance on a wide range of transactional matters and employment law issues. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial and employment law, coupled with excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work on a variety of technology transactions and human capital management matters while supporting the General Counsel and handling special projects as they arise. You will draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes agreements, audit third-party vendor risk, and provide real-time legal counsel to the HR team on hiring, performance management, and workplace investigations.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA Accredited Law School
  • Active license to practice law and capable of meeting in-house admission requirements in Texas
  • 5+ years of experience as practicing attorney with a focus on transactional work and employment law
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated track record of handling complex, high-value transactions
  • Strong project management skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work with and develop relationships based on trust with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without restrictions for any employer
  • Must be able to commute to the office located in Plano, TX
