Senior Lending Specialist

Join our Incredible Consumer Lending Team! As a Senior Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for taking and working loan requests from application to closing, performing a high volume of outbound loan campaign calls, and driving revenue through offering products and services that meet member's needs. You will work in a team environment, but be motivated and self-disciplined to work independently.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include processing loan applications quickly and accurately, performing outbound calls to existing credit union members, and meeting assigned goals for member protection products. You will also act as a trusted advisor and provide recommendations for future lending approvals, while delivering a loan turn-down decision to a member.

Requirements

• Previous/current lending experience at PCCU or other financial institution required
• Ability to drive revenue by achieving loan goals and looking for additional opportunities with members
• Ability to process loan applications quickly and accurately within the standards laid out by the Chief Retail Officer
• Ability to perform a high volume of outbound calls to existing credit union members and members who have recently obtained a loan through an indirect partner
• Ability to meet assigned goals for member protection products
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and provide recommendations for future lending approvals
• Ability to document all sales activities in the credit union's core system
• Ability to possess effective communication and strong listening skills
• Ability to foster relationships and influence sales decisions
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional raving fan member service skills
