Job Description
Senior level Controls Engineer - Contract located in Jacksonville, Florida. The role will be focused on increasing the capacity of an existing catheter production line. Opportunities for future growth and collaboration with a technically strong team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar automation-focused engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens), HMI development, motion control, and robotics.
  • Experience with industrial controls, sensors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), safety hardware, and various automation technologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical information.
  • Understanding of the strict regulatory environment for medical device manufacturing, including FDA and GMP requirements.
