Role OverviewThe Class A Lineman is a safety-focused professional with the ability to construct and repair electrical transmission systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may be required to travel to different job sites.
What You Will Do
Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems while putting safety first. Install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will be required to work at heights and in proximity to energized equipment, willing and capable to obtain knowledge in bare hand work – 44kV and 500kV.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
