Job Description
Join our dynamic team and take ownership of our critical Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. As a Senior System Administrator, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable Linux infrastructure that powers our core operations.

Requirements

  • Full lifecycle management of our Red Hat systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Red Hat Satellite to streamline these processes.
  • Participating in and leading the upgrade of our existing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 systems to version 9, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and health of our VoIP DHCP services and our Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) system, including user and group management, access controls, and ensuring its overall stability and security.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust system hardening techniques, requiring hands-on experience with security compliance tools such as Evaluate Stig and OpenSCAP to audit, remediate, and ensure adherence to security benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions, often leveraging your scripting skills in Bash and Python to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts to manage system administration, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborating with development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices, and providing timely and informative weekly reports on the progress of assigned projects.
