Job Description
Turnitin is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join their applied research team. The successful candidate will develop production-grade Machine Learning models, optimize them for scaled production usage, and work with colleagues to integrate Machine Learning into various products. The role requires a strong understanding of math and theory behind Machine Learning and Deep Learning, as well as industry-standard development skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math or related field
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in Machine / Deep Learning and Computer Science and Software Engineering
  • Academic publications in peer reviewed conferences or journals related to Machine Learning
  • Machine / Deep Learning development skills, including popular platforms such as PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, Ray, scikit-learn, Jupyter, Weights & Biases, etc.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
