Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Business Development Analytics role is a critical member of the Business Development and Strategy Analytics team. The Senior Manager serves as a key internal consultant to BMS's leadership team by conducting financial analysis of business development opportunities and by providing valuation insights for deals, with the goal of enabling value-driven R&D & M&A decisions.

What You Will Do

Lead/facilitate product development teams and appropriate matrix representatives in identifying compelling development strategies for further analysis. Responsible for financial analysis of the development options and using that analysis to provide insights into the tradeoffs among the options, with the goal of enabling value-driven R&D decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, forecasting, decision analysis, risk assessment, as well as prior experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, Finance, Management Science or related field is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in forecasting, financial modeling, valuation, and/or decision analysis experience is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise at structuring and completing insightful financial analyses combined with an ability to clearly communicate insights to senior management is required.
  • Strong financial valuation modeling and analysis capabilities using spreadsheet software is required.
